Expressing gratitude is one of the simplest yet most profound ways of worshiping God. As we approach the end of the year, we reflect on the many ways God has blessed our lives. We are thankful for the hope that our Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ offer us. Through the atonement, hope is offered in a way to cleanse us of sin, to return and live with God and to reach our full potential. Hope is granted to encourage us through struggling times and motivate us to help the world be a better place. We are grateful as well for the blessing of the Spirit in our lives, for the peace and inspiration that comes with this holy gift. We are grateful that our Heavenly Father loves us enough to reach out to us through His Spirit, comfort us, and guide us in our lives. And finally we are grateful for the love of God. We are thankful for the earth He has given us, for the gospel He has taught us, and for the knowledge that we are His children. In all these things we see God's love. We feel it as we read His inspired words and as we follow His commandments. We know that our simple words of thanks can never be enough to make up even a small part of the debt of gratitude we owe to our Heavenly Father, but we offer them anyway. We will never stop thanking our Father for His endless blessings, with our words, actions, and faith.
