Our Savior

We love the Savior. We know that He is the Way, the Truth, and the Light. Through joy and pain, through trials and happiness, through good and bad, He is our constant companion and dear friend. We find comfort in prayer and in His written words. We can receive answers and direction by asking Him in faith. He knows us and loves us and wants the best for us.

Elder M. Russell Ballard said, "Your testimony of Jesus Christ is the most important anchor that you can have to help hold you, steadfast and immovable, to principles of righteousness, regardless of the challenges and temptations that may come in the future." ("Steadfast in Christ," Ensign, Dec. 1993, 52). We know that our testimonies of Christ lead us where we need to go and will protect us from going astray.

We know that Christ has restored His true church in our time today. Christ spoke to and called His prophet, Joseph Smith, and continues to call prophets in these latter days. President Thomas S. Monson is the true and living prophet on earth. His voice is the voice of the Lord's.

By following in Christ's footsteps, we can attain true happiness in this life and in the life to come. We just need to trust in Him. We testify of these things in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
